LJMU has three modern Libraries, two of which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week during term. Over 2,000 workstations are available in the Libraries and Student IT Zones. All of our facilities are designed to replicate 'world of work' environments so that you can gain the key skills and experience relevant to your chosen career, including clinical practice suites for midwifery, nursing and paramedic students, science, technology and engineering laboratories, TV studios, a forensic scene-of-crime lab, theatre and rehearsal facilities, a mock or moot courtroom and an art gallery.

Studying at LJMU opens more doors than you might think thanks to LJMU’s extensive links with leading arts, cultural and other organisations across Liverpool and beyond, such as Liverpool Philharmonic, Tate Liverpool, Everyman and Playhouse, Homotopia and Liverpool Biennial to name just a few.

Plus you can apply for a range of generous scholarships, worth between £1,000 and £10,000 for every year of your degree and we award targeted support for students from low income households or those who have been in local authority care. We also offer generous scholarships for international students.
