In the world of sport one of the biggest causes of poor performance is when athletes consciously overthink their execution of play. They dwell on it, play it over and over in their minds to the point where they can't play naturally.

It is the same with exams. It's important to go into an exam with almost a head empty of thoughts. If you start overthinking about all the notes and revision you have to remember then you become paralysed and you won’t be able to think freely.

Before you step into the exam make sure you do something fun that takes your mind off the exams. If you trust that you've done your revision then that knowledge won't be going anywhere.
