Back to School; Getting Organised
It’s Back to School already so what is your Revision strategy this year?
S-cool have been working hard over the summer to help get you on track and make a revision plan.
Making a revision plan early will help you make sure that you have amble time to cover all subjects. GCSE students know that there are usually 8-12 subjects to revise, which equates to three months of revision.
Ask your teacher for the exam dates or you can search online through the Interboard Examination Timetable.
Exam Results Poll 2015
In a recent S-cool poll 50% of students were confident that they would achieve an A* in their exams this year!
33% claimed to be heading for an A-B result. 10% are expecting to get B-C’s while 6% are pessimistic and only expecting to achieve D or below.
That puts over 80% of S-cool students heading for high grades!
Why an apprenticeship?
Brought to you in association with Milkround
When apprenticeships are mentioned, the expression “earn while you learn” crops up a lot. And with good reason as well - when you are an apprentice you get paid in order to become proficient at a job. Essentially companies are investing in people, moulding them to be the kind of worker they want to be a part of their business.
Over 50% not confident when it comes to their Exams
With exam season fully upon us S-cool decided to ask our users how confident they felt about their exam success.
Over 50% said they were not confident while only 5% said they were very confident about their exam prospects. However, while 24% were quietly confident that they would pass their exams, 20% had no idea how they would do.
